Who we are
Brighton Installations is a sole trader business based in Peacehaven, East Sussex. We're responsible for the personal information you give us. Contact: enquiries@brightoninstallations.co.uk or 07402 685054.
What we collect
When you use our quote form, call or email us, we collect what you give us. That's usually your name, phone number, email address, postcode or town, details of the job, and any photos you send.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out the work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then performing that contract.
Who we share it with
- The tools we use to run the business: our form and customer management system (HighLevel) and our email provider [email provider to be confirmed]. They store the information for us under their own data protection terms.
- A registered engineer (electrician or Gas Safe): only if your job needs one, and only the details needed for that part of the job. We'll tell you before we do.
- We don't sell your information or use it for marketing without your permission.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't go ahead: up to 12 months. Customer records: 6 years, for tax and accounting purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email enquiries@brightoninstallations.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
